Morocco was the beginning of my trip, and Japan was at the end. We spent around 16 days in Japan and most of the time in Hokkiado. We hired a car in Sapporo and drove around the northern most island for 11 days. The best thing about driving in Japan is that they drive on the same side of the road as us kiwis. Hokkiado is similar to NZ in the sense of being more empty than a lot of Japan. There were lots of farms and a prolific dairy economy. I managed to do some landscape photography as you will see. The only problem is that there are bears roaming in the woods. On the highway there were lots of deer on the side of the road as well.
