Visiting one of the villages, one of the families allowed us to look at there home. I think the father was preparing lunch for the family.

Stunning images Chris. Reminds me of my early trips to Vietnam in the early 2000s. I recall running through rice terraces with a couple of conservationists and meeting minority families.
It’s great to know you can still go off the beaten tourist routes and be one of a few visitors. We stayed with families who owned traditional long houses and slept above where they kept pigs! The food in rural Vietnam is extraordinary. I don’t think my love affair with the country and its people has ever stopped.
Thanks Jenny, you are right. its the people who make the country.
The only thing you need to get use to is being a pillion passenger on a scooter taxi ploughing through the rice terraces!
Thank you Christopher,
What an adventure we had. You have captured the best. I’m so glad we have the opportunity to be there.
Love the way you tell the stories of each photos!
Thanks Sally,It was fun wasn’t it!
